Smqwati Eliuj: Making an Eelpole

This film follows a young man through the process of constructing an eelpole. First, he must enter the forest to find, trim and cut down the right piece of wood. Back in his shop he removes the bark using a drawknife and shapes the wood until it is straight Finally, he fastens the handle and stands it up outside to dry.
